Gaja (Sanskrit word for elephant) personifies a number of positive attributes, including abundance, fertility, richness, strength and wisdom.
This piece of sycamore tree wood was found in Subcarpații de Curbură, a beautiful hillside area close to Valea Dulce river, on an early winter evening.
The Crafting Process
This piece of wood was not cut from a living tree. It was found dry, on the ground.
It needed cleaning, washing, brushing and sanding. It was also treated against harmful insects, pests and mold.
